How to play, in one minute
Remove cards two at a time when they add up to 13. Tap one free card, then its partner. An ace is 1, a jack 11, a queen 12, and a king is 13 by itself, so one tap removes it. Clear the pyramid, the stock and the waste to win.
- A card is free once both cards lying over it are gone. The bottom row starts free; covered cards look grayer.
- The pairs: ace and queen, 2 and jack, 3 and 10, 4 and 9, 5 and 8, 6 and 7.
- The stock: tap it to turn a card. The card you turned and the top of the waste pile can pair with each other or with any free pyramid card.
- 3 passes. When the stock runs out, tap it to turn the waste pile over and go through again, up to 3 times in all.
- Undo goes back as far as you like, and you get 6 hints a game.

Why three passes?
Pyramid is hard. Wikipedia puts the odds of winning under the strictest rules at around 1 in 50. Extra passes through the stock make a big difference, so we use the 3 passes that BVS Solitaire's version gives. We checked how much they help with our solver, which knows where every card is: on the same 1,000 random deals, it won 71 with one pass and 656 with 3 passes. Its 71 of 1,000 with one pass is higher than Wikipedia's 1 in 50 because the solver sees every card, stock included.
Our own test, October 2026. With one pass the solver searched every line on all but 5 deals; with three passes it ran out of search on 94, so the true number may be higher, by up to 94.
Questions
Is Pyramid solitaire free here?
Yes. No account, no download and no limit on games. If ads ever appear, they'll stay off the table.
Can every deal be won?
With "Winnable deals only" on (the default), yes. Every deal comes from a set of 656 that our solver has won. You can't see the order of the stock, so you can still choose the wrong pairs. Undo helps with that.
Which cards add up to 13?
Ace (1) and queen (12), 2 and jack (11), 3 and 10, 4 and 9, 5 and 8, 6 and 7. A king is 13 alone. Tap a card and the line under the table tells you what it pairs with.
Can two cards in the pyramid pair if one covers the other?
Not in our game. Both cards have to be free. Wikipedia lists removing a card together with the card covering it as a variation, and says only some versions allow it.
Do I have to clear the stock too?
Yes, to win. Once the pyramid is clear, keep pairing the turned card with the waste pile until every card is gone. Wikipedia calls the version where clearing the pyramid alone wins "relaxed" Pyramid.
What is today's deal?
One deal a day, the same for everyone, always one our solver has won. Win it to start a streak.
