Every day brings one new cryptogram. It changes at midnight where you are, and everyone who plays on the same date gets the same quote in the same code.
How the daily cryptogram works
The quotes run through our whole bank of 495 in a fixed shuffled order, one a day, so you won't see a repeat for well over a year. Each puzzle starts with one letter filled in. Lengths vary from day to day: some are a short proverb, some a full verse.
Solve it and your streak goes up by one. Miss a day and it starts again at one. Your streak lives in this browser, so it follows you only on the same device. Hints and Check don't break a streak; only solving counts.
