Farkle score sheet
Playing farkle with real dice? Type the points each player banks, and the totals add up as you go. The keeper knows the opening minimum, the last round and who wins. Your game stays in this browser, so a closed tab doesn't lose it. Want paper instead? Print a blank sheet with the scoring chart at the top.
- Pick the players and type their names in playing order, starting with whoever won the roll-off.
- Pick your table's rules: the score to play to, the points needed to get on the board, and any penalty for three farkles in a row.
- After each turn, type the points banked and press Add points, or press Farkle. Made a slip? Undo last turn takes it back.

F = farkle (no points). Scoring chart: Game On Family's, the default in our online game. backporchgames.com/farkle/score-sheet/
How to keep score in farkle
All you need besides six dice is paper and a pen. Give each player a column. Only banked points go on the sheet: points you set aside during a turn don't count until you bank them, and a farkle wipes them out. Write the turn's points, then the new total next to it, so anyone at the table can check the sum.
A farkle scores nothing, but write it down anyway (an F is enough). It keeps the turns lined up, and it matters if you play the three-farkle penalty.
- Getting on the board. Many tables need a minimum in one turn before a player's first bank counts. Wikipedia gives 500 or 1,000 as examples, and Game On Family's rules use 500, as our game does by default. Until a player banks that much in one turn, nothing goes in their column. The keeper also offers 300 or no minimum, for tables that play a lower bar.
- Three farkles in a row. Some groups take points off for a third farkle in a row: 500 is Wikipedia's example, and the version Game On Family describes takes 1,000. A bank in between starts the count again. In our game and in this keeper, a score never drops below zero.
- The last round. When someone's total reaches 10,000, every other player gets one last turn to beat it. After that, the highest total wins, and a tie goes to the player who got there first. Game On Family's rules end the game the moment someone reaches 10,000. The keeper always plays the last round; if your table doesn't, the first player past the target wins and you can stop there.
- The target. 10,000 is the usual goal, and Wikipedia notes that the number varies. Pick 5,000 for a shorter game, or type your own.
How long is a game? In our test games between two copies of our strong computer player, a game to 10,000 took 30.8 turns on average, both players together, so about 15 each. That's why the printed sheet has 20 rows for up to four players. Computer players aren't people, so take it as a rough guide.
The scoring chart on the sheet
These are the points our online farkle game uses by default, from Game On Family's chart. The printed sheet carries the same list at the top. Combinations only count when all their dice come up in the same roll.

Not sure how a roll counts, like four 1s or 1, 1, 5, 5, 3, 3? Our farkle scoring chart and calculator has worked examples and scores any roll you tap in. The full rules, from the roll-off to hot dice, are on our how to play farkle page.
Questions
Does it save my game?
Yes, in this browser on this device, after every turn. Nothing is sent anywhere. New game clears the turns but keeps the names and settings for the next game.
What if I type the wrong number?
Press Undo last turn. It takes back the most recent turn, farkles and penalties included, and you can press it again to go further back. Names can be fixed any time.
Why won't it take my points?
The red message says why. Usually the player isn't on the board yet (their first score has to reach the opening minimum in one turn), or the number doesn't end in 00 or 50. Every farkle score is a multiple of 50, so that check catches most slips of the finger.
Who goes first?
Everyone rolls one die, and the highest roll goes first. Players who tie for highest roll again. Put that player's name first, then the others in the order they'll play.
Can I print it on A4 or US Letter paper?
Yes. The sheet is sized to fit one page of either. With five to eight players it's laid out sideways (landscape) so the boxes stay wide enough to write in; if your print preview shows it upright, choose Landscape there. Print this sheet prints the game so far, and Print a blank sheet prints empty names and boxes.
Can it score my dice for me?
Tap the dice into the score calculator and it shows the most a roll can score. Or skip the paper: in our online farkle game the dice roll on screen and every turn is scored for you.
