About Back Porch Games
Back Porch Games makes free versions of classic games that play well on a phone, a tablet or a computer. We started with sudoku because it's the puzzle people ask for most, and because it's easy to get wrong: a puzzle with two solutions, or one that needs blind guessing, ruins the fun.
So every puzzle here is checked by software before you see it. One solver confirms there's exactly one solution. A second solver works through the puzzle using only moves a person would make, and that decides its level. Puzzles that need trial and error are thrown away.
Who makes it
Back Porch Games is made by Emre Özen, who also writes the how-to-play guides.
What we don't do
We don't ask you to sign up, we don't sell your data, and we don't use pop-up ads. Your game progress is saved in your own browser. If we add ads to keep the site free, they'll sit outside the board and never cover a game.
